Indicative range in UAE dirhams

These are market benchmarks, not quotes. Real fees depend on the creator, audience quality, content production, timing and negotiation. Creators in the UAE who advertise on social media need a UAE Media Council advertiser permit, so confirm this before you book.

How the estimate is worked out

The calculator starts from a base fee range for each platform, format and creator size, then applies the options you choose. We built the base ranges by comparing UAE rate guides published in 2025 and 2026 and rounding to the range they broadly agree on:

Format norms such as the Reel premium, usage rights and whitelisting also draw on Later’s global pricing guide.

Creator sizes: nano is 1K to 10K followers, micro 10K to 50K, mid-tier 50K to 200K, macro 200K to 500K, large 500K to 1M and mega over 1M. Where the guides gave no figure for a size or format, we extended the nearest range, so TikTok and YouTube figures at the largest sizes are the least certain.

Format adjustments

  • Instagram Reels are priced 30% to 50% above a feed post and carousels 20% to 30% above. A story set of three to five frames is priced at roughly 40% to 65% of a feed post.
  • A long TikTok video is priced 30% to 50% above a standard video.
  • YouTube Shorts are priced at about a quarter to a third of a dedicated video, and a 60-second integration at about half to 60%.
  • UGC is content made for your own channels, with no posting by the creator. We use AED 700 to 1,500 for a simple video and AED 1,500 to 3,500 for an ad-ready one.

Options and what they add

  • Usage rights: 30% to 50% for 30 to 90 days on brand channels and ads, and 60% to 100% for six to 12 months of paid ads. The guides range from 25% to 100%.
  • Category exclusivity: 20% to 50% for one month, as in the guides. Our three and six-month figures (40% to 80% and 60% to 100%) are Advertah estimates.
  • Peak season: 20% to 30% around Ramadan, Eid, National Day and the fourth quarter.
  • Rush delivery: 25% to 50% for content needed within 48 to 72 hours.
  • Whitelisting: AED 1,500 to 5,000 per creator per month, for running ads through the creator’s account.
  • Extra revisions: AED 500 to 2,000 per round beyond those included.
  • Retainers: 15% to 20% off for three months and 15% to 25% off for six months.
  • Agency management: 15% to 25% of spend. Paid boost: 20% to 30% of creator fees. VAT: 5%.
  • Engagement, bilingual or GCC-wide audience and niche: the guides say these raise or lower fees but give no figures. Our adjustments are Advertah estimates: high engagement adds 10% to 25% and below-average engagement takes off 15% to 30%, a bilingual or GCC-wide audience adds 10% to 25%, and a mid-premium or premium niche adds 5% to 15% or 10% to 30%.

The percentage options are added together, not multiplied. The retainer discount is applied afterwards.

What the estimate does not include

  • Production costs such as filming, editing or photography, unless the creator provides them.
  • Gifting, travel or event attendance.
  • Snapchat and LinkedIn creators, because we could not find reliable published UAE rates for them.

UAE rules to know before you book

From 1 February 2026, anyone advertising on social media in the UAE, paid or unpaid, needs an Advertiser Permit from the UAE Media Council, and brands should confirm their creators hold one. Read the Gulf News report on the permit and check the Media Council’s current guidance before you contract a creator.

Frequently asked questions

How much do influencers charge in the UAE?

It depends on audience size, platform and format. As a guide, a micro creator with 10K to 50K followers typically charges around AED 1,200 to 4,500 for an Instagram feed post, while a mid-tier creator with 50K to 200K followers charges around AED 4,500 to 15,000. Use the calculator for your own mix.

Is TikTok cheaper than Instagram in the UAE?

Often, yes. For a similar format and audience size, the guides we compared put TikTok below Instagram, with one putting the gap at 20% to 40%. Top creators can charge the same on both.

How accurate is the estimate?

It is a market benchmark, not a quote. The base ranges follow published UAE guides, but real fees vary with the individual creator, and brands often close 10% to 15% below a creator’s first quote. Use the range to set a budget, then ask creators for their own rates.

What is whitelisting?

Whitelisting, also called partnership or creator ads, lets a brand run paid ads through the creator’s own account. Creators usually charge a monthly fee for it on top of the content fee.

Are these prices fixed?

No. Engagement, audience location, niche, timing and how many posts you book all affect the final fee, and many creators negotiate.

Do I need an agency to run influencer campaigns?

You can book creators yourself, but an agency helps with creator selection, contracts, permit checks, briefs and reporting. Advertah’s influencer marketing service covers this for UAE brands. Contact us to talk through your campaign.
